towritecomicsonherarms:COMICS YOU SHOULD READ BEFORE YOU DIE! #3 of manyI was trying to find my 10 fave covers to post so i went through all of my issue and at the end i realised i’d saved over half of the 60 covers. This is one of those comics where i’d always wanted to read but could never be bothered to start reading for some unknown reason (i did the same with Saga tbh) And then a few years ago i was without internet for a week and i started issue #1. I think i probably read about 40 issues in that session. I was absolutely hooked. The remainder were read the next night in one sitting. After the last page i just sat there for about 5 minutes in silence contemplating the fact that there was no more to read. That was it. PLOT: “On July 17, 2002, something (referred to as a plague) simultaneously kills every living mammal possessing a Y chromosome — including embryos, fertilized eggs, and even sperm. The only exceptions appear to be a young amateur escape artist named Yorick Brown and his Capuchin monkey, Ampersand. Many women are killed from disasters caused by the men’s deaths.”If you haven’t already figured it out.. nearly every single character in this comic is female. And there’s a LOT of characters. Even though this is my 3rd favourite comic of all time i nearly always recommend people read this before the top two. If you have read this try not to post any spoilers if you comment yeah!?
