It is the world’s largest island within a lake that is situated on an island located in a lake within an island. Phew! Got that? Maybe not, so let’s reverse the order. In the Philippines, there is an Island called Luzon Island. On this Island there is a lake called Taal Lake. A volcano by the same name breaks the surface of this lake; creating an Island within the lake. In the crater of that volcano, there is another lake; Crater Lake to be exact.
