#ThyCaptionBe: Drop it Like it’s HotYou captioned this detail. And we’re revealing the full story now.Medieval fitspo or a sad attempt at faking sick from ye olde school? Details of the disaster were recorded in this account of the Hundred Years War (1337-1453). While the author Jean Froissart kept his opinion on death of the King of Navarre ambiguous, the artist hints at conspiracy by including courtiers who seem unalarmed by the flames before them.#ThyCaptionBe is a celebration of modern interpretations of medieval aesthetics.
