Tom Whalen – Bust’d 2 Art Show at Gallery 1988Busted ! Again !Tom Whalen is the US artist well known for his art inspired by propaganda posters of the 50s, full of colors and cleverness. He worked a lot with Mondo, and through the years developed his carreer in many ways for various other galeries, such as Gallery 1988 in L.A. Last year, he created a great series called « Bust’d » for Gallery 1988, and last week was the premiere of the sequel of what became a very popular art show. Tom created dozens of busts featuring the main characters of pop culture classics in video games, movies, TV shows and cartoons. « Buts’d 2 » features lots of brand new artworks available as mini-prints, but also metallic screen prints as well as great original sketches and wooden sculptures !You can check them below, and find many other artworks on the Gallery 1988‘s website.
