James.as far as I can guess the illustartions are for:header: The Mezzotint (1904)top left: The Mezzotint (1904)top center: The Lost Hearts (written in 1892, published in 1904)top right: The Diary of Mr Poynter (1914)bottom left: The Tractate Middoth (1911)the last two are a mystery for me, if anyone can find out, i’d much appreciate it.I suspect bottom center is Wailing Well and bottom right is Martin’s Close; both perhaps spookier than Lost Hearts and featuring some of that very good creeping over the ground so much to be admired in The Mezzotint. -- source link
