The Skunk Whisperer - Here’s a bit of an odd one I did a few weeks back for the Globe and Mail. It was for a Facts and Arguments essay about a woman who encounters a skunk in need - poor guy had a jam jar stuck on his head. After overcoming the usual feelings of panic that occur when you’re approached by a skunk, she mustered some zen feelings, grabbed hold of the little guy and set him free. You can read the article here.I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to illustrate a skunk with a jar on his head. Since much of the article was about how this woman now feels much calmer about approaching skunks than before and she talked about being the “skunk whisperer” and zen feelings I thought maybe having the woman meditating while perched perilously on top of the jar, being watched expectantly by the skunk might fit with the situation. Thanks to AD Ben Barrett-Forrest! -- source link
