ickaimp: Estrella War is coming up, so I’ve been helping people with shields, just the detail work this time around. On the left is Domnall’s Shield of Chivalry, which is an Atenveldt award. @elinordear did the sketching and base paint, I did shading and gradients. On the right is Stacy’s shield, she’s so happy about having passed her heraldry and excited to have a shield to paint. I spent an hour, added a little bit of shading and black work to make things pop a little bit more. I’m only daytripping on Saterday, for Artisans Showcase, but I’ve got some crazy projects to finish up before then. ^__^ Couple of years old, forgot to reblog. -- source link
