As they eat, they chat. Glenna learns that Fenton inherited this house from his grandmother. He ended up moving in after his father, his last living relative, died when we was still a teenager. He’s been living off of his grandmother’s modest inhertiance while pursuing his studies and lives very simply as a result. He masterfully changes the subject whenever Glenna asks what he’s studying, however, and Glenna soon forgets she never heard an answer. -- source link
