khorazir:khorazir:Ok, so here’s proof that too much up-hill cycling does funny things to the brain. This cracky idea struck me while out on my bike today and refused to go away. And I’ve only watched the original movie once and didn’t particularly like it …Anyway, get ready for the latest London musical: The Sound of Murder.@thetigersclaw is writing an actual college musical version of The Sound of Murder (yay!) and needs help with lyrics. Back when I created the poster I wrote some for “My Favourite Things”, and I remember that there were lots of brilliant suggestions for the other songs in the post notes. Since there are so many great writers in the Sherlock fandom, why not get your creative juices flowing and help out @thetigersclaw with some cool Sherlocked versions of The Sound of Music. Below is my attempt, I’m sure people can do a lot better ;)“My Favourite Things”Microwaved eyeballs, bold chases and catches,A case that requires three nicotine patches, A head from the morgue that Molly now brings,These are a few of my favourite things.Cream-coloured jumpers and Chinese past midnight,Crack shot and steady backup in a fight, Whenever John texts and my mobile rings,These are a few of my favourite things.Riddles and threats in a dark swimming pool,Challenging cases devised by no fool,A Westwood-clad psychopath who pulls all the strings,These are a few of my favourite things. When there’s no case, Mycroft’s at my place,And the milk is gone,I simply remember my favourite things,And once more the Game is on. -- source link
