S E X Y P I N K UPCOMING SHOWS | Trinidad and Tobago Note from the Artist3 more days until the opening of UNPLAIT, my debut art exhibit at East Yard. I’ve been a performing artist for almost 30 years. Three whole decades. Visual arts has been a part of that journey in many ways. My jewelry has been commissioned by MoCADA Museum in Brooklyn. I have performed with fellow performing artists at Museum of Modern Art and commissioned to create performance installations at the Brooklyn Museum for Mickalene Thomas’s exhibition and several other events. And now in my place of birth, a country that I love, in a creative space that is dear to my heart I get the chance to share this body of work that I’m not only proud of but believe will open a door to enlightenment and healing.
