some transfem jesses i drew last week after getting inspired by vic’s art!an extra sketch along with some headcanons/explanations for design choices under the cut:s1 jesse:a couple years into hrtkeeps her hair kind of long, hasn’t really figured out how to maintain itcan get kind of wary and cautious on the streets. she passes extremely well, but there’s still a very strong fear of being outed as transwalt manipulates her using validation. he didn’t know jesse was trans back in high school, and only found out at the start of brba. jesse only started to come out to more people after highschool, anyways2 jesse:jesse and jane are lesbians i will die on this hillgot vaguely jane-inspired bangsshe’s livin’ her best life… actually sort of happy and comfortable and confident in herself, though still closeted to a strong degree. jane is the first real partner she’s had in a long time due to insecurityyou know that one gay picture of a girl sitting on another girl and doing her makeup? thats3 jesse:snakelong hair because she’s been too busy grieving jane to cut itsad but kind of mean about it. when hank punched her, jesse was so angry she threatened to add hate crime charges against him even if it meant outing herself to the world at largeearly s4 jesse:kind of a divergence from canon, attire-wise. she’s embraced a feminine party aesthetic instead of a masculine oneshe’s baring more skin than she’s comfy with, especially in a dangerous setting. it’s a self-destructive impulseshe got a side shave and a septum piercing. she starts wearing eyeliner, toolater s4/s5a jesse:cleans up her look so she matches all the other criminals around hergoes for something more masculine. she’s feeling more comfortable in expressing herself that way, though not enough to fully shave her headmike genuinely respects jesse’s gender, unlike walt. (kaylee appears to be a similar age in both bcs and brba, so a fun little headcanon i have is that she’s a trans girl on puberty blockers)butch time late s5b jesse:looks like a mess, alwaysthis is just canonhair’s growing out, she’s got those dumb overgrown undercut hair tufts. marie put her hair up like that as a female bonding activityi love mariecompound jesse:these are nazis. besides being racist, they are also violently transphobicit’s painful to imagine. i’d say that the short hair jesse has in this pic is because the nazi’s chopped it off to make fun of her. but… that’s painfulwhile hrt can slow facial hair growth, it may not completely stop it. without maintenance, jesse’s unfortunately growing some beard hair back inlife sucks massively that’s all i can sayel camino/ms. driscoll jesse:new identity time! her new ids all have her correct gender and name on themshe’s gonna forge a new path for herself…i love her and i hope she is doing well -- source link
