This is Vijitha, a mother from Batticaloa, Sri Lanka. On the day of the Easter Sunday attack, she and her 8-year-old daughter were both at Zion Church. Thankfully, Vijitha and her dauther survived. But their motorbike was destroyed. To help this young family (her Hindu husband left when she became a Christian), as well as five other believers who also lost their motorbikes in the bombing, Open Doors replaced the lost bikes.“Thank you for the bike,” Vijitha shares. “It’s useful for us every day when I take my daughter to school. My only income is my father’s pension, and I’m looking for a job now.”Pray with this young family and others in Sri Lanka - a snapshot reminding us of believers still grieving and recovering from the targeted attacks. -- source link
