The Advisor II - Original ProjectThe style of this was inspired by some old “This Book Belongs To” stickers I used to own as a kid. I found a whole sheet of them inside of a random second-hand book, and they were my first introduction to the beautiful work of Alphonse Mucha. I’ve had a bit of an obsession with his style ever since.It’s been one of my dreams to someday draw something that properly encapsulates a few of my favorite elements from his work, and I feel like this portrait of my obsessive-compulsive, cat-loving witch nerd is the closest I’ve ever been. It’s not that accurate, and it’s definitely got a lot of my own mediocre touch all over, but I’m still so proud of how it turned out.Would you be interested in seeing more portraits like this?
