noelclover:Commissioned by @ryqoshay, a new NicoMaki picture!While I do like this picture, I have to say that the background gave me some trouble as I’m not familiar with drawing backgrounds. Something I need to practice on drawing, most definitely. It gave me an excuse to go through a lot of Ikea images, which I really like going through.Though this in addition to the initial long wait… I’m really sorry about that to ryqoshay and everyone in line!While I think something was a bit lost when I drew them so cleanly, it gave the girls are rather sticker-like effect, making them standout against the background. The colours I think helped in this. I rather like it to be honest. I also had some help with this as I painted it all in a layer and had problems because I didn’t know what to do for the background, but a friend saved me by transferring NicoMaki onto another so that saved me a lot of grief (thank you again!)
