Chapter 3, Page 6 (3.6.119)Image Description: Start ID: Elian jolts in the garden. It’s day now. The normal style of the comic has returned, and he’s clearly an adult and a Hallow now, the version we’ve grown accustomed to, judging by his facial markings, ears, red eyes and gold pupils. Above him, he sees a woman wearing a pink headscarf and darker purple facemask and shawl. Her skintone is bronzed, darker than Fawya’s, with dark brown near-black eyes and two moles near her left eye. Her eyebrows are black. She is likely a palace servant. “Oh, good! You are awake!” she says. Elian realizes that he, a god, has just been caught sleeping in the dirt. He’s not quite sure how to proceed at first. Now in daylight, his surroundings can be seen more colorfully. He’s in a courtyard that functions as a garden, with many violet flowers. On the walls of the courtyard are murals, some geometric designs and some representing the gods of the world– a tree with two suns in its branches, similar to a mural seen in Gresha. A large spiked crocodile with a sun in its mouth, representing Ruthelaine. A white eagle-like bird holding a white sun. A white image almost like a phoenix, not dissimilar to the markings on Elian’s shoulders and upper arms. The murals are seen in the backgrounds of the pages.
