I don’t *loathe* country music. I just feel it’s lost its sense of self. I hear a lot of modern country music that’s just mediocre pop music recycling music video trends from ten years ago, struggling to stay relevant. It’s not a dying breed of music, it’s a stagnating breed. That said, I never really cared about it that much in the first place, so it’s not really that painful for me to watch. -- source link
