Unlike all the other girls in her belly dance class, she was doing it only for physical fitness, and had no intention of ever performing, not even for a boyfriend. She went to see three of her former classmates making their debut on stage, and when one of them was unable to perform, the others begged her to join them. She agreed, and they quickly got her into the missing dancer’s costume, and did what they could with her hair, and applied makeup to her never-before-painted skin. It wasn’t until hours later, after she had danced and had experienced the incredible rush of being applauded by a crowd, and of being openly desired by men, that it occurred to her to wonder about the amazing coincidence that the dancer who had been unable to perform just happened to be the only girl in the class who was almost exactly the same size as she was … . -- source link
