Work continued this week on our restoration project in Glencairn’s cloister. Today we exposed the crushed mosaic aggregate using a light acid solution, which reveals the colors of the glass. The final product will closely approximate the finish of the original fountain basin, which had eroded over the years. We have also restored the original fountain mechanics.
