flannelisme:coffeeandspentbrass:cavemnkey:coffeeandspentbrass:heylady222:cerebralzero:beelavender:In line to get coffee, Manhattan. There are definitely some things I miss about England! Like, oh, never wondering if my morning caffeine run will end in a gun battle. Side note for those who care: I could have disarmed this dude and fired all rounds without much effort. And I’m only partially weapons trained – there are plenty of people with better strength/skills wandering around. America, you have a problem. “I could have disarmed this dude”Ten bucks says this Brit chick doesn’t even know what a Level III Retention Holster is, let alone how to use one. Also taking pictures of other people’s guns and openly admitting that you were thinking about shooting a bunch of people is a bit creepy.lol unholstering a gun, especially with that holster, isn’t nearly as easy as most people think. There’s more than one reason to practice your draw. Also, if you look closely, you’ll notice OP didn’t actually die in a shoot out while buying their coffee. Shocking! Don’t know how she got out alive…What the hell does “partially weapons trained” even mean? Looks like the guy is probably armed security…Considering the OP said this was in Manhattan he’s gotta be.Will someone please explain what level three retention is? I know stupid question, but I would like to know. -- source link
