GLENN FABRY – SLÁINE PRINT FOR VICE PRESSVice Press is a British online gallery specialized in everything 2000AD related (the famous publisher who created Judge Dredd). A new officially licensed print is about to be unleashed on their online store, this time tribute to Slaine. If you don’t know who Slaine is, a little bit of history for you. Created in 1983 by Pat Mills and Angela Kincaid, Slaine relates the adventures of Celtic king Sláine MacRoth in a mystic and barbarian Ireland. This warrior king helds Brainbiter, his dedicated two-handed axe, and by reading his adventures you would think Conan the Barbarian is a cute kid looking for some ice cream ! Glen Fabry (Preacher, Hellblazer), amongst many others, had the privilege to draw Sláine’s adventures, and it was all natural for him to draw this magnificent print for Vice Press !This incredible 2 colors screen print will be available today on Vice Press, limited to 150 pieces. Axe lovers, you know what to do ! -- source link
