Just, uh, thought I’d bring you some tea, heh, just, regular old tea break, but uh-”He holds the mug a little closer to himself, looking nervous but hopeful. “Just as a- a, a non-sequitur, I guess you don’t have any uh… special plans for- for uh, June?”The viewpoint switches to Jon, hunched over his desk in the dark in front of an elaborate string board that maps out the connections between Elias, Gertrude, the Archive staff, and some of the statements. There are pictures of everyone, but notably more pictures of Martin. He grumbles under his breath, seemingly not noticing Martin.Outwardly unfazed, Martin sets the tea on his desk with a smile. Jon hunches over his notes protectively. “Well, okay!” Says Martin, “You’re clearly busy, so I’ll just leave this here.” Martin goes back to his own office and writes a short note, ‘No concrete Pride plans.’ He pins it up to his own elaborate stringboard, this one mapping out the clues Martin has to Jon’s sexuality/ potential interest in Martin.
