April 2018 - Scallion / Green Onion harvestThis is most of the green onions from the Deck Bed. There’s still some spinach in there but most of it is bolting. Not quite hot enough for warm weather plants, not sure there’s enough time for more cool weather ones. Hmmm…The green onions have performed wonderfully! I brought home trays of them from work last fall when they were sad and pathetic and no one wanted them. Now we have so many I’m just going to have to freeze this stuff b/c we really have a pretty wild amount of them at this point. Fortunately V is excited to make soup with them already!The flower buds, it turns out, have the most kick. -- source link
