Following the “success” of the Swim Tease bikini company, the Barely There swimwear company did their best to compete with the subliminal messages the only way they could – with subliminals of their own.  A sign of the times – unlike the Swim Tease product, the Barely There line was still fairly typical swimwear, with the exception that it was translucent – and became outright transparent when wet.The subliminals were a cheap knockoff of the Swim Tease subliminals, and it showed.  Only a small percentage of women were affected, and unlike the Swim Tease girls, Barely There girls could recognize how exposed they were, if they noticed – but even if they did realize they were on display they simply couldn’t bring themselves to wear swimwear that didn’t show their nipples and cunts through the material, despite the embarrassment.Ironically the saving grace for Barely There was these malfunctioning subliminals.Shortly after the ad campaign started, the Barely There girls had their humiliating days at the beach, then left in a huff… only to find themselves with a desperate need to make sure their breasts, ass, and pussies were visible at all times, even when “normally” dressed.  Some dealt with the compulsion by cutting holes in normal clothes, others wore their Barely There bikinis and the occasional fishnets in lieu of real clothes, while most hid desperately in their homes, refusing to face the world with their newfound need to display themselves.The market, of course, provided – with Barely There’s new lineup of office wear, school uniforms, and casual wear, all made of the same translucent material, allowing the Barely There girls to re-enter society, “properly” attired.Meanwhile, the Marketing department and the Barely There R&D team started planning their next great lineup – Barely There Pasties, and the mind-bending subliminals that would convince thousands of women that wearing glorified stickers on their nipples and cunts was an appropriate alternative to bikinis, shirts, pants, uniforms…A followup to @alltheseroadworks‘s “Swim Tease” caption from a few days ago. -- source link
