I love working evenings, I do, but sometimes working evenings means I’m missing out on some good stuff. Take for example Downton Abbey. It’s been on TV here a lot, and I’ve wanted to watch it for years, but Downton Abbey is the kind of show that I want to watch from the very beginning. If I started from the 4th episode I’d feel like I’d been deprived of something really important. There would certainly be references that I didn’t get because I didn’t watch from the start. So usually I either buy the shows I want to watch (which is super expensive!) or I wait for Netflix to get their hands on them. Well, guess what?! Netflix FINALLY got Downton Abbey and I started watching straight away.Let me just say this: I had barely started the first episode before I was completely hooked. I’ve devoured the 4 seasons that Netflix have and I’ve loved every second of it. I finally get what all the hype is about. It makes perfect sense and Downton Abbey is a show that totally deserves it. I think I’ve been through the whole range of emotions. I’ve laughed, cried, yelled at the TV - in short, it’s practically perfect! My absolute favorite though, is Mr. Bates and Anna. From the moment they first met, I knew they’d be something special. And I knew they’d be special to me. -- source link
