This photo was smuggled out of North Korea. It’s super rare. It shows a man, dressed in prison clothes. He’s one of thousands in North Korea that have been thrown in labor camps for offending the government. North Korea has denied such camps exist. But satellite images and the stories of those that have escaped highlight these labor and prison camps are some of the darkest places on earth.Open Doors estimates that up to 70,000 Christians are in such camps - serving time for simply believing in a higher power than the country’s leaders. But even in those dark camps, the light of Jesus can still shine.Pray today for all those in prison and labor camps across North Korea because of their love of Jesus.
