▪️ Tag #DailyGunDose for a feature! _________________________________________________________ #Repost @keystonecarry・・・Here’s my home defense in order of most likely for me to grab when I hear a bump in the night. My go to is my suppressed 300 blackout and G19. If I can’t grab these two I’ll grab the 16" 223 carbine. If no carbines are available I’ll take the G19 over the 12 gauge everyday. Sounds crazy right? I have 25,000 rounds plus on the pistol over the last few years and probably 600 on the shotgun, it’s about skill and comfort levels. I’m just all around more confident with my G19 than the heavy recoiling 12ga. If nothing else is available I’ll settle on the mossberg 12ga. My house has two foot thick stone walls so over penetrating isn’t a top concern. I think so many people get so wrapped up in this that they forget that ALL bullets pass through drywall. Stick framed houses just suck at stopping bullets period. At the end of the day I spend more time doing dry runs in my house memorizing shoot and no shoot areas than worrying about how many layers of drywall a supersonic 30 cal bullet will go through. Hint: it’s a lot. What are your thoughts?
