Connect to the present moment.2. Roll all your weight into your left foot. Lift your right foot and cross your right ankle over your left thigh. Making a 4 shape.3. Keeping your right leg as it is and bend forward bringing your fingertips to your mat (or blocks if the flexibility isn’t there yet to touch the ground).4. Bend your left knee and drop your hips down to lightly rest on your left heel. Your left heel is lifted off of the mat, and your weight is evenly distributed from the ball of your foot out to your last toe.5. Keep your back straight and suck your belly in tight, engaging your core. The temptation is often to lean your torso too far back, keep your shoulders stacked over your hips.6. Bring your left hand into prayer at your chest. Find your balance here and then lift your right hand up to meet the left.7.
