thedoctorofsteel:Today I got an autograph from John Barrowman. I told him I’ve been struggling with self harm and asked if he could sign my forearm. He agreed then said something along the lines of ‘I’m sorry but I’m going to be brass. You’re probably going to think I’m a jerk.’ Then he took me by both hands and looked me in the eyes and said, ‘Please don’t hurt yourself. You are too important to this world to hurt yourself.’ There was more he said but I don’t want to go on forever. But the biggest thing is he repeated a few times, ‘You are too important to hurt yourself.’ And I think that’s a message to everyone.
