tinglingpeter:Alexander the Great / Oscar IsaacWith apologies to the original poster, I’m going to say a big “no” to this, as the Pompeii Mosaic shows real Romanizing from the long sideburns to the too-dark coloring (and negativizing too). That’s not what Alexander looked like. The Azara Herm (in the Louvre) is much closer to what he’d have looked like. Oscar Isaac (who I like as an actor) would not be a good cast in the looks department. And the Pella Lion Hunt mosaic gives us his coloring. -- source link
