Sunday night, part 4[part 1] [part 2] [part 3] Reminder that:- no, this isn’t over; - no, these aren’t from earlier in the week;- no, everything isn’t alright now; - no, the police haven’t stopped brutalizing peaceful protesters;- no, police haven’t intervened to stop the looting;- no, police haven’t responded to emergency 911 calls for people injured by rubber bullets or children hit by cars;- no, michael brown’s shooter still has not faced any consequences for murdering an unarmed teenager 9 days agoTo those who believe the media reports:Look at the time stamps. The media is reporting that police clashed with protesters last night because they were breaking curfew. Curfew doesn’t start til Midnight. All of these were before 11pm.The media says militarized assaults have been pulled out of Ferguson. Look at the photos. These are still militarized. Read the reports. This is still militarized.Do not believe it when people are telling you things are okay in Ferguson, and that it is the fault of the protestors. The protestors are being vilified just like Brown so that the cops have a reason to stay there and continue trying to silence those speaking out about the ILLEGAL activities of the officers. Just because they wear a uniform doesn’t make them right. Please don’t defend men who are using their badges as a shield for their hatred and immorality.Please, please, PLEASE spread the word so that people can realize what’s happening there. I only found out about this a few days ago because nobody is talking about it. Or if they do, they’re talking about violent protestors running wild through the streets with brave cops risking their lives to protect the peace.
