The show focused on personal narratives, so here’s the story behind this illustration:When I was young, I had a wonderful ferret named Salty, who was always full of energy and life - even when she became sick and started losing her hair. She was a symbol of good luck to me, even though weasels are often associated with bad omens - so I illustrated her surrounded her with lucky symbols like acorns, a wishbone, a ladybug, a snail, and a four leaf clover.Prints available here for the duration of the show.
