Kuwait is a conservative society and the sharia law prescribes a wide range of rules for personal, family and community life. Approximately two million foreign citizens work in Kuwait. Most Christians are expatriate or migrant, and they often struggle to get licenses and registration for using places of worship but thankfully laws are not as strict for them, as long as they stay unnoticed.Pastor Emmanuel makes use of the situation to evangelize, share the Gospel and distribute Bibles among migrant workers in labor camps. Every week, pastor Emmanuel visits these camps to organize worship meetings in of the laborer’s bedrooms.Between their bunk beds, they hold services, pray and worship together. Many migrants are coming to faith during these meetings. We thank the Lord for them!Pray for these migrant workers to continue to grow in their faith. Also, pray for opportunities and courage to share the Gospel with their local employers. -- source link
