This is your reminder that 70% of dogs from service dog programs where the dogs are bred into the program and have the “perfect” upbringing wash out. You should never think that your pet dog is going to have the same ability or temperment of a service dog. Let alone a dog who is use to their routine. Even with Itty I am very specific about the situations I put her in. She does not interact with every dog we come across. We don’t go to places that may be dangerous for her. We exist as a team where I listen to her as much as she listens to me.
