@solarpunkfashionweek : casual edition Brown pants - cotton, very old, repaired multiple timesGreen shirt with native edible and medicinal plants - made by regional artistshair tie - so old it’s from my childhoodJewelry - necklace that has my wedding band and a labradorite pendant (the only jewelry I ever really wear)ball jar wide mouth - these things are so insanely useful, we freeze bulk soups we make in them and that’s what I eat every day for lunch at work. Double as drinking glasses, herb storage, and anything really. The wide mouths are easier to clean and deal with than the narrow mouths, but the narrows have their applications too. This was taken on the secret back deck, which I don’t think I’ve ever shared pictures of before. Out here, it feels like we live in the trees. Note that this is where the aloe plants (lower left) live in summer - they love it out here, in the shade. Not shown: various building supplies and materials, this deck is attached to a part of the house that needs a massive rebuilding overhaul… at some point. -- source link
