This is so tone deaf to how you treat your lis of color in your stories…I really wish you hadn’t said anything because if you did it correctly, you’d have to come to terms with how you’ve been treating the non-white lis and actually apologize to us players of color and actually admit that you will improve, but you didn’t. “Let’s learn and listen to the voices often stifled” like y’all don’t even do that for your audience! You say you hear us, and to be fair, we have seen very very very slight improvements, it literally can take months to a whole year to get a parent/family member that matches with our MC, towards a sign of you “listening” but…you really don’t. Your whole treatment of your lis of color show an opposite statement to what you’ve said here and it’s just…do better. Like please actually improve. Cause this just falls flat. -- source link
