They’re very texty, though.@abelzumi, @remakingmagic, @mtgdesignprompts – and all my lovely followers – can you think of a less wordy way of capturing the same flavour?I really love the flavor of this idea, but I agree that I think there’s a way to achieve a similar flavor without being so wordy. What if the front of the card was something like this? Amphibious Guise (G) Enchantment When Amphibious Guise enters the battlefield, put a green 0/1 Frog token creature onto the battlefield. If Amphibious Guise would leave the battlefield, exile it and return it to the battlefield transformed. What do you think? That way the cycle could be all about enchantments that turn into other permanents when they leave the battlefield. You could even do the same thing with Auras. (They curse the creature they’re on until they break the spell.) -- source link
