Did You Know? This chocolate river in Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory (1971) was actually made of chocolate, water and cream. While that sounds delicious, it actually spoiled quickly with the cream in it. When it spoiled, it smelled foul. Probably wasn’t fun to shoot scenes with a horrible smell in the air. -- source link
