(THREAD) Anyone here familiar with a kidpocalypse? You come downstairs, the house is wrecked, and your kids are nowhere to be found. A story brought to you by Clorox. You have to consider your options as a parent: Do I lose my mind or walk back to bed and never look back? So I asked myself what would Clorox’s research say?The answer is clear. I grab my coffee and tell them, “If this room were we could do a million activities before school.” “Like what?” “LIKE UPSIDE-DOWN TV WATCHING.”“But we’ve already done thatttttttt.” “Well, how about Trampoline-in-the-living-room Olympics? Your first event is speed jumping. First one to 1000000000 wins.” They weren’t convinced yet.“How about a chess+staring contest?” DONE!They cleaned the entire room! My 4yo loves putting things in bins. My 8yo likes sorting/figuring out exactly where things are supposed to go. Cleaning ends up teaching me about my kids & they see that it’s the beginning of adventures. We just need a place to set the stage. Thanks for reading! -- source link
