Today I learned something pretty disturbing about my zucchinis. There are male and female zucchini flowers. The ones which I have here on my plant, supposed to be male ones. They are on a stem and won’t have any zucchinis. Later on the females will show up, they supposed to be closer to the plant’s center… The most disturbing thing is that if the females will turn up I have to probably pollinate them by myself since in the middle of the city there aren’t any bees around on my balcony… -- source link
