Living amongst the seasons doesn’t always mean we have to love the season we are in. In fact it is okay to not be. I think it is important to be frustrated with where you are at times. If we loved everything, how would we ever feel the deep joy of something we love. What the real challenge is even in the seasons we love and the ones we struggle with we have to find the best way to absorb them, feel them, allow them to grow us. This can be hard or it can be easy. We have to sometimes leave to regain strength and perspective and sometimes we have to stay and take it all in. A life amongst the seasons is beautiful, challenging, hard work, but most of all it is unbeleivably rewarding when after a long few weeks of a season that didn’t go as expected we can see the sunshine, smell the earth, and find the flowers surfacing. How similar these seasons are to our lives. How much they teach us. What perspective they can bring. Because even in the coldest days in mid-April the trees are budding. That alone is the perspective we sometimes need the most. https://ift.tt/2v7HSgF -- source link
