I just want to say thank you, sincerely, to all the people who went out to Women’s Marches
I just want to say thank you, sincerely, to all the people who went out to Women’s Marches around the country today. Your solidarity, your support, your voice, your resistance, means so much to me and all women. -Thank you, especially to the men who realize that they can be feminists and great allies to women. Thank you, especially to the more privileged protesters who remembered to share their voice and their platform with minority voices today. Thank you, especially to all the minority people who were strong and brave enough to face hardships like discrimination, racism, and even violence against you, to share your perspectives today. I’m truly grateful for you all.-We are a small city, so seeing 26,000 people at the Capitol in Des Moines was so heartwarming, so encouraging, so uplifting. Seeing the numbers coming from friends at protests in bigger cities is equally exhilarating. I just can’t thank you all enough. I have so much gratitude and hope today. Thank you.-#alyssaleicht #womensmarch #womensmarchdesmoines #thefutureisfemale #fightthepower #hearourvoice #beheard #feminist @womensmarch http://ift.tt/2kdetae -- source link
