She was married after the death of another prospective bride, also called Matilda, who was the daughter of Konrad II of Germany. She married King Henri I either in 1034 or in 1040. Nothing else is known about her; she may have given birth to a daughter who died the same year as her, in 1044. She was buried in the Saint-Denis Basilica. -- source link
