Follow us for update, read our blog for details, and give us your feedback.OH HOLY HELL THE 50′S ZOMBIE KILLER GAME IS HAPPENING STAY CALMDo not stay calm. Get excited. Get very excited.I screamed the first time I saw that this was actually becoming a thingThat’s probably the right level of excitement. People have a lot of great expectations for this game, and we plan to deliver on every level possible. four people killing zombies? so its left4dead with women. not that im against that, left4dead is good. But, it better bring something new to the table other than “women protagonists hahharhahrha”. Not like that matters to people anymore, for some reason just having women in it will make people praise it, not whether its even good or not :/Well, there’s a few things we’re hoping to bring to the table. One is increased focus on the characters. There’s actually a very involved story going on in Aberford, so it’s more than just “holy crap, zombies, kill ‘em”.Two, the zombies are more 28 Days Later than Walking Dead. They’re tough and fast and you won’t be mowing them down by the truckload. Each fight will be a battle to stay alive. Mobility and crowd control are important factors in Aberford.Three, you’re often fighting alone in this game, so you’ll have to switch tactics. You can’t just stand there and spam attack while the horde dies before you. Actually, you can’t do that even the group. This isn’t your typical “kill them by the hundreds” zombie game. You have to move around and play smart or you’ll die.Four, it’s mostly a melee game. Contrary to popular belief, not everyone in the 50′s had a tommy gun hidden in the kitchen pantry. Plus guns are loud and require training and ammo to operate effectively. The women of Aberford mostly make their way using whatever weapons they can find, and that doesn’t include conveniently abandoned rifles and ammo dumps. -- source link
