Ok I’m not so original but really, this is my first OTP.I had pairings of various kind but never an otp.Siren is just my real and first otp.Two damaged souls, similar yet so different, getting to know each other and liking what they are finding in the other so much they are changing for each other, accepting the other and slowly falling in love. If you consider that their relationship starts like three/four days before the whole Cemetery/Blue Oblivion accident, we see them already needy of the presence of the other, already bonded and intimate. They doesn’t need to speak to each other to understand what they are thinking. Plus, the Walkers considers Simon already a member of the family. Isn’t this the most cute thing ever? I could go ahead with so many important gestures they make in the whole series to show their affection to each other, like…(Kieren removing the mousse from Simon’s face as an apology, admitting in this way that Simon has a point, deciding to not put mousse and contacts on himself anymore because of that. Kieren fidgeting and searching for Simon when he couldn’t find him anywhere, worrying for what it’s going to happen to Simon if the Council will find him; being upset when he finally talk to Simon in the GP, quite desperate when he asks to him where did he go. Simon putting the mousse and the contacts on for Kieren, trying to let the boy emancipate from himself for first, then from the society; Simon exposing his painful past to be completely transparent with Kieren. Simon throwing his beliefs away and the devotion to the cause and the greater good plus the only true family he had, to protect Kieren, staying with him despite he knows he can be killed sooner or later if he stays in Roarton, and so on and on…)We had just a little glimpse of this relationship at its beginning, and I want to see more of it, because it matters to have a normal gay relationship in a show, where the fact that’s gay is not the main thing of the series, where it’s treated like an hetero relationship as it should be done always.For this reason and for so many others, “In The Flesh” MUST be renewed!So RENEW IN THE FLESH by signing, voting and spreading the links to petitions and polls!
