So as you might know from my stories, I had a little accident over the weekend concerning my left foot and some very annoying rocks… long story short I have to use crutches and ‘rest’ for a week or so now I’m suitable drugged up, but I honestly never felt this much pain in my limbs before I know I’m very lucky (and have excellent bone density) not to have broken anything before, but there it is, I haven’t - so it was truly a new experience. Pain is such a complex and interesting subject, which is incidentally one of the things that made Elantris so delicious to me as a piece of fantasy fiction.
