Romano-British relief depicting Mithras being reborn from an egg (some see this as a rock) and brandishing a sword and torch. He is surrounded by the signs of the zodiac, representing the cosmos (clockwise from the bottom left: Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Capricorn). This sculpture is apparently unique in form. 3rd century CE. From the Housesteads Mithraeum (temple), now in the Great North Museum, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. -- source link
