trickmilk:trash-cactus-blog:chwhore:sick-sad-world-revolution-now:cosmicmoves:fatbengal:yahooentertainment:Rashida Jones Exposes The Amateur Porn IndustryHot Girls Wanted, a new documentary produced by Jones, explores the faux “amateur” genre, which she says rakes in gobs of cash by exploiting the gullibility of young women who thirst for fame and fortune. We have a cultural problem where we put a huge currency on sexualizing young girlsWatch the full interview and read more at Yahoo NewsIf I’m thinking of the correct film, this film demonised sex workers and was ridiculous lmaoyeah she can choke die and somersault into hellImagine being so evil that when you see a woman who denounces the real manipulation that gets young girls to get sexually exploited your first reaction is to wish her to “choke die and somersault into hell”.in what fucking universe is defending sex workers from the industry they’re exploited by demonizing them???? anyways i didn’t know rashida jones did this and it’s really great to hear a relatively well-known actor standing up to the industry…criticising teenage porn is apparently “demonizing sex workers” but wishing violent death upon women just because they dare be against young girls in porn, is woke and great.yall need to fucking listen to yourself speak for once i swear. what kind of feminism is this where you can literally just straight up ignore sex trafficking victims because it might hurt the feelings of the few sex workers who are in it voluntarily lol. get over yourselves. trafficking and rape victims will always come first in this discussion, and if you cant live with that dont call yourself a feminist bc thats not what you are.I think it’s important to humanize sex workers but it is even more important to protect the voiceless.Sex workers have a platform- a platform they utilize to the best of their ability.Victims of sex trafficking don’t have glamorous come-ups like Amber Rose and Cardi B (famed sex-workers that do awareness projects or speak openly about that lifestyle). They don’t have multi-million dollar industries that they can rally against. There’s no glamorous spin on trafficking. They are victims of a crime and in some cases, the law calls them criminal as well.If you can’t support your cause without shunning victims of injustice, you need to seriously rethink your principles. It will never be so important to shield the glamorous side of an industry so as to ignore the hell beyond that curtain. -- source link
