We have difficulty getting our needs met across the board, but especially in reproductive care. Here are some things I thought about during my most recent gynecological appointment (pictured!): 80% of women with disabilities have been sexually assaulted.Over 30 states in America have involuntarily sterilized people with disabilities. There are invisible illnesses that affect the reproductive system and it’s difficult to get care for them We’re overdue for this care.
