dailyplantfacts:Adiantum peruvianum is a fern in the family Pteridaceae. Commonly known as Silver Dollar Fern, it is native to Peru. Normally, when people think of ferns, they imagine finely dissected leaves (known as pinnae in ferns), but the pinnae of this species are large, and undivided. The sporangia are aggregated in circular sori on the margins of the underside of the leaf. This fern is widely cultivated where it requires hot, humid conditions, and plenty of shade.
