carltonlassie:It’s Daniel fucking LaRusso. He looks like shit, nasty scruff lining his face, deeply set creases around his eyes, but Johnny knows that face. “Alright, please, let’s just—talk it out, alright?” LaRusso says to the guy twice his size, who doesn’t seem to be interested in his suggestion.“No, were done talking, pal,” the guy says. He sounds genuinely pissed off, bringing a pool cue to his throat.Serves him right for pissing off everyone that he comes in contact with. That tiny fucking asshole is so full of himself for no reason, always sticking his nose into other peoples business. Why would he step in? He’s finally getting what he deserves.“Come on, just, please.”He sounds pathetic. Can’t he do a crane kick or something? It worked just fine on him at the tournament.“I don’t want any trouble. I didn’t mean anything I said before.”Other patrons are staring at them now, but none of them seem to want to step in. Not even the bartender—he keeps his eyes on the glass in his hands, still wiping the stain that’s long gone.“You’re gonna get it, asshole.”LaRusso’s eyes flick around the room in panic. The desperate, searching eyes briefly fall on him before moving onto the bartender, then a moment of realization. They snap back onto Johnny’s.Yeah, hi LaRusso. Long time no see. Small town, huh?Johnny takes another swig if his beer, brushing off his gaze. But LaRusso continues to stare at him—what is he, asking for his help? What makes him think that he’s gonna step in?“What are you fucking looking at, you can’t even look at me?” the guy says, turning his head back and following his gaze. “That your boyfriend or something?”“No, please, leave him out of it. He’s got nothing to do with me. I don’t know him at all.”Johnny winces. That’s exactly what you’re not supposed to say, dumbass. Now he’s involved in it, whether he likes it or not. He tips his bottle and finishes the remaining beer and slams it down on the counter.“Alright, that’s enough, man,” Johnny says, pushing and dragging his stool out to the side. “Let him go.” -- source link
